Terms of Service

Welcome to Singh.in. These terms cover what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've kept them as short as we reasonably can.

What Singh.in is

Singh.in is a free service that gives you a personal you@singh.in email address that forwards to your real inbox, plus a public profile page at singh.in/you. We provide the platform; we don't run your email — your real email provider does.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13 years old. You need a working email address that you control. You need to provide accurate information when you sign up — using a destination email that isn't yours is a violation.

Your account

When you claim a @singh.in address, you're its custodian for as long as you keep your account active. You can have up to two addresses per account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure.

If you lose access to your destination email, you may lose access to your Singh.in account too — there's no other way for us to verify it's you. Keep your destination email current.

What you can't do

We don't run a long list of rules, but we do have some hard ones. You may not use Singh.in to:

• send spam, scams, or unsolicited bulk email
• impersonate someone else, including public figures
• harass, threaten, or target other people
• distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
• do anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
• claim addresses in bulk for resale or speculation
• use your profile page to host content that's hateful, sexually explicit, depicts minors inappropriately, or promotes violence
• attempt to break, exploit, or overload the service

If you do any of these, we'll suspend your account and may release your address back to the pool.

Profile content

You own what you put on your profile. By posting it publicly, you give us permission to display it on Singh.in and include it in directory listings and search results — that's what makes the service work. You can hide your profile or delete it any time and we'll stop displaying it.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you upload.

Forwarding

Mail sent to your @singh.in address gets forwarded to your destination email automatically. We don't store the contents. We don't read it. We don't share it. We can't recover lost messages if your destination bounces.

We can't guarantee 100% deliverability. Email is a best-effort system and forwarded mail sometimes gets caught by spam filters at the destination.

Inactive accounts

If your destination email starts bouncing for an extended period, or your account shows no activity for two years, we may release your address. We'll attempt to notify you first.

Changes and shutdown

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use after the change means you accept it.

We reserve the right to discontinue the service. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data.

Disclaimers

Singh.in is provided "as is" without warranty. Email forwarding is a best-effort service. We're not liable for damages arising from missed mail, account loss, or service interruptions.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
